Minnesota State head football coach Todd Hoffner faces child pornography charges after being booked by Eagle Lake cops at his home today. The Division II Mavericks' coach has been on administrative leave since Friday after university officials escorted him off the practice field.
The AP says Hoffner hasn't been officially charged but that his booking records are related to child porn. Cops reportedly searched through the garbage at his home and took his car from the residence.
Hoffner has been head coach at the former Mankato State since 2008, compiling a 34-13 record and winning last year's Mineral Water Bowl.
