Byron Scott is a very bad basketball coach. That wasn’t much of a problem for the Lakers last season, when all they wanted to do was lose as many games as possible, but his ineptitude matters a lot more now that he’s responsible for the development of some key young players. It will be an even bigger problem in the near future, when the Lakers expect to start winning again.
