Best MLB plays October 6th
Dodgers F5 at Phillies (-125)
Jesus Luzardo Under 14.5 Outs (+115)
Cubs/Brewers F5 Under 4.5 (-120)
Dodgers F5 at Phillies (-125 at DraftKings)
The Dodgers rallied from a 3-0 deficit to shock the Phillies in Game 1 of the NLDS, 5-3 on Saturday.
Philadelphia led 3-0 through five innings as Los Angeles fell to 18-4-2 in the last 24 games in the opening five innings.
Blake Snell silenced the Phillies’ offense in a 5-0 home victory in September. The two-time Cy Young winner struck out 12 batters in seven shutout innings while giving up a pair of hits.
The Phillies are 2-5-1 in the first five innings in their last eight games against left-handed starting pitchers.
Philadelphia southpaw Jesus Luzardo is making his first start since September 24. He allowed four runs in seven innings in that loss to Snell and the Dodgers last month.

Jesus Luzardo Under 14.5 Outs (+115 at BetMGM)
Luzardo has finished Over his Outs prop in nine of his last 10 starts, including at least 21 outs in each of his final three outings in the regular season. So why is this number so low tonight?
It was mentioned above that Luzardo struggled in his last start against the Dodgers, although he did manage to pitch seven innings. Another concern is how long these starting pitchers will last now that the page has turned to the NLDS.
The Dodgers forced out each of Cincinnati’s starting pitchers before the fourth inning in the Wild Card round, but Philadelphia’s Cristopher Sanchez lasted nearly to the end of the sixth inning in the NLDS opener.
Los Angeles was shut down by Sanchez through the first five innings on Saturday, but if they can score one or even two runs early, Luzardo could get the hook by the fourth inning.

Cubs/Brewers F5 Under 4.5 (-120 at DraftKings)
The Cubs were run out early in Game 1 of the NLDS by the Brewers, allowing nine runs in the first two innings of an ugly 9-3 defeat.
Chicago sends out left-hander Shota Imanaga, who tossed four innings of relief in the Game 2 loss to San Diego in the last round. In three starts against the Brewers this season, Imanaga has given up five runs in the first five innings.
Prior to Saturday’s outburst, opposing left-handed starting pitchers in the previous five opportunities held Milwaukee to a total of four runs in the first five innings.
The Cubs’ offense has posted five runs in the first five innings in four playoff games so far, while scoring two runs or fewer in the opening five in four of their last five road contests.
Milwaukee will likely turn to a bullpen game tonight with Aaron Ashby taking the mound. Ashby has posted a 2.16 ERA this season and hasn’t allowed a run in his past eight appearances.
