MLS Player Knocked Unconscious After Getting Flattened By Keeper 

Vancouver Whitecaps forward Masato Kudo was going for a long ball when Matt Lampson lit into him with a vicious hit, flooring Kudo and rendering him temporarily unconscious while trying to scoop the ball up.

Even though neither of these videos are of particularly high quality, you can still get a sense of how hard the hit was. Kudo stayed on the deck for a few minutes and apparently lost consciousness for a bit before he eventually came to and left the game. He reportedly suffered a concussion and bit his mouth a bunch, and is being evaluated at a local hospital. We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.
