Cardinals (+114 at DraftKings) at Marlins

The St. Louis Cardinals hit the road after being swept at home by the New York Yankees this past weekend.

They’ll travel to South Florida to face the Miami Marlins, who return home after a rough 3-8 road trip.

Eury Perez gets the start for Miami after striking out eight batters in his last outing, a 13-4 win at Cleveland as a +120 underdog. However, Perez has allowed nine runs, including five home runs, in his last two starts.

The Marlins are 3-6 in their last nine games against left-handed starters. On the other side, Cardinals southpaw Matthew Liberatore takes the mound. St. Louis is 4-1 in Liberatore’s last five road starts.

Reds (-112 at DraftKings) at Angels

The Cincinnati Reds ended the Milwaukee Brewers’ 14-game winning streak with a walk-off win on Sunday.

Now, they head west to Anaheim to open a three-game interleague series with the Los Angeles Angels.

The Angels pulled off a shocking three-game sweep of the Dodgers at home last week before dropping two of three against the Athletics in Sacramento.

Cincinnati sends out Brady Singer, who tossed six scoreless innings in a 6-1 win over the Phillies in his last start. Still, he has struggled on the road, going winless in his last four away starts while allowing at least four runs in three of them.

Los Angeles counters with Victor Mederos, making just his second start of the season. The Angels have won five of their last seven home series openers.

Jack Leiter Under 3.5 Strikeouts (+115 at DraftKings)

The Texas Rangers avoided a sweep against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday and now head to Kansas City to face the Royals.

The Royals’ offense is among the best in baseball at avoiding strikeouts. They’re one of only two teams with fewer than 500 strikeouts against starting pitchers this season.

Before Sunday, opposing starters were on a 9-0 run to the under on strikeout props against Kansas City. That streak ended when Chicago’s Davis Martin struck out four batters against a 3.5 total.

Tonight, Texas right-hander Jack Leiter has a 3.5 K prop, juiced to the over. Leiter had gone over this number in six straight starts before finishing with three strikeouts in each of his last two.

In Kansas City’s last six night games, every opposing starter has finished with three strikeouts or fewer.
