The 23-year-old Ontario-born defender was the No. 4 overall selection in the 2025 PWHL Draft in June.
Gosling tallied 148 points (44 goals, 104 assists) in 170 career games at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
"We were already very excited to see Nicole in action this season, and that feeling has only grown since we got to spend time with her following the recent draft," Victoire general manager Daniele Sauvageau said. "In addition to being very talented, she has great energy, which is sincere and contagious. Our fans are really going to enjoy her style of play."
Gosling was the ECAC Defender of the Year in 2023-24 and made her second straight ECAC First All-Star Team in 2024-25 with 39 points in 40 games.
Internationally, she won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship held in Utica, N.Y.
The Victoire open the 2025-26 PWHL regular season on Nov. 23 at Boston. Montreal's home opener is two days later against New York.
