The Montreal Victoire announced two-year contract extensions Thursday with captain Marie-Philip Poulin and two other foundational players.

Poulin, a forward, along with goaltender Ann-Renee Desbiens and alternate captain and forward Laura Stacey are entering their third season with the PWHL franchise.

"These three players have been the heart and soul of our team since day one, and we wanted to make it absolutely clear that they will remain integral members of the Victoire for a long time to come," general manager Daniele Sauvageau said. "Their work ethic, determination, and attitude embody everything we want to see in our players, and their leadership in the locker room brings us immeasurable value."

Poulin, 34, is the league's all-time leading scorer with 49 points (29 goals, 20 assists) in 51 games. She earned PWHL Forward of the Year honors and the Billie Jean King MVP Award in 2024-25.

"I am so proud to remain with the Victoire for the long run. It's an honor and a privilege to wear this jersey and represent our city alongside my teammates," Poulin said. "I am thrilled for this upcoming season to get started and look forward to reconnecting with our great fans."

Desbiens, 31, led the league last season in wins (15), goals-against average (1.86) and save percentage (.932) and was named the PWHL Goaltender of the Year.

Stacey, 31, has recorded 40 points (21 goals, 19 assists) in 50 games with Montreal. She received the PWHL's "Hockey for All" Award last season, presented to the player who makes the biggest impact in her community.
