Move Over Hank The Dog, There's A New Baseball Dog In Town

Hank the Dog, the Brewers’ pooch who may or may not be a hoax, was the most famous dog in baseball until this week, when the Savannah Bananas found this good doggy abandoned in their stadium parking lot. Her name is Daisy and she’s extremely good and handsome.

The team named her official “Bat Dog,” which seems like a no-brainer even if there was competition.

“We aren’t sure how big she’ll get, so it’s hard to say if she’ll be able to pick up a bat or just coach first base,” said Orton, “but as she grows, she’ll be a fixture at the ballpark.”

May she become as legendary a bat dog as Miss Babe Ruth was and not get fired for taking a shit on the field like her idiot brother Yogi.
