Nats reinstate reliever Clayton Beeter from injured list

The Washington Nationals reinstated reliever Clayton Beeter from the 15-day injured list on Thursday.

The 27-year-old right-hander went on the IL on April 26 after experiencing soreness in his right forearm.


Beeter was 1-0 with two saves and a 3.48 ERA in 10 relief appearances prior to the injury.

He is 1-3 with a 4.12 ERA and three saves in 39 career games (no starts) with the New York Yankees (2024-25) and Nationals (2025-26).

The Nationals made room on the 26-man roster Wednesday night by optioning left-hander PJ Poulin to Triple-A Rochester. Poulin, 29, is 3-0 with a 2.91 ERA and two saves in 23 games (five starts) this season.
