NBA Best Bets for October 28th: Expert Picks for Tuesday
Tuesday is a relatively quiet day in the NBA with five games on the light slate.
But as long as there is one, we have options for the best bets of the day. We’ve taken a long, hard look at all five games to come up with our list of the best of Tuesday.
Will the Knicks take care of business in Milwaukee? What about the Kings and Thunder in OKC? For you night owls, the Clippers and Warriors don’t even tip off until 11 p.m. EST.
New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
I would typically call the Knicks the better defensive team of the two, but they sure didn’t look like it in their first road game. Now, they have won their last five games against the Bucks, but they head into this game a bit banged up.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has gotten off to a great start this season, averaging 36 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists through three games. He is coming off a 40/14/9 performance in Cleveland. If he can get a little help from his team, the Bucks can take the injury-depleted Knicks at home.
Our Pick: Milwaukee ML at +104 (FanDuel)
Giannis Antetokounmpo, OVER 31.5 Points at +100
The Knicks are a top-five defensive team, but with all the injuries they are dealing with, I’m not so sure they can do something no one has done this season: slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo. Until someone does, I’ll take him to go OVER this TOTAL at +100 every time.

Sacramento Kings vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Kings have a rest advantage in this game, but I don’t think that will matter against the defending champs. Despite already dealing with several injuries, the Thunder are off to a 4-0 start, scoring 121 points per game while holding opponents to 113.3.
But 10.5 points is a big spread for a team that has gone 1-3 ATS. OKC will win this game, but with the injuries they are still dealing with, I can’t say with confidence they can cover the spread, and there is no value in the money line. Nor can I say the Kings will keep it close.
However, the OVER is 2-1 for the Kings and 2-2 for the Thunder. There is enough offensive firepower amongst both teams for the final score to go OVER the TOTAL.
Our Pick: OVER 227.5 at -110 (FanDuel)

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors
The last game of the night may very well be the best.
The Clippers (2-1) are favored and rested, while the Warriors (3-1) stroll in on the second leg of a back-to-back. As an older team, that is not a great position for them to be in against a competitive squad.
Now the Clippers are not exactly stacked with youth. But they do have a rest advantage and have won seven in a row vs. the Warriors, including three in San Francisco. However, with how well the Warriors have played at home this season (131 and 137 points), I’ve got more confidence in them.
At this price, the value is in the Golden State ML.
Our Pick: Golden State ML at +105 (Caesars)
