NBA Best Bets Today: Top Sports Betting Picks, Predictions November 6th, 2024
Although election day gave us a chance to exercise our right to vote, it robbed us of NBA basketball.
The things we do for freedom.
You won’t have to wait long to resume betting, though, as 24 teams will be back in action on Wednesday. The Cleveland Cavaliers have a chance to improve to 9-0 with a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George is set to return to Los Angeles for a meeting with the Clippers and a rematch of the 2022 Finals pits the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors.
Here's how we’re attacking the board on Wednesday:
Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics
It was Golden State that went home with a title when these two teams met in the Finals two years ago, but Boston has had bragging rights more often than not since then.
Last time the Warriors took a trip to Beantown, they left with their tail in between their legs, as the Celtics rolled to a stunning 140-88 victory in which they made 51 percent of their 3-pointers (25 of 49).
Boston, now holding the title of defending champ like Golden State once did, is off to a 7-1 start this season and has dominated opponents on its home floor. In two games at TD Garden, both wins, the Celtics have posted an average margin of victory of 17 points.
And don’t think for a second that Boston forgot about the Finals loss to the Warriors. Revenge is still sweet.
The pick: Celtics spread -7.5, -110 (DraftKings)

Philadelphia 76ers at Los Angeles Clippers
George finally suited up for Philadelphia on Monday, recording 15 points, five rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes of action. He had missed the 76ers’ first five games due to a knee injury.
After spending the previous five seasons with the Clippers, George broke for Philadelphia this past summer and signed a four-year, $212 million contract with the Sixers in free agency.
The 34-year-old was relatively quiet against Phoenix, and maybe he was just shaking some rust off, but surely he’ll want to return to Los Angeles with a bang.
Fellow 76ers star Joel Embiid (three-game suspension) will still be out, meaning Philadelphia’s game plan will revolve around George and Tyrese Maxey.
The pick: Paul George over 29.5 points + rebounds + assists, -110 (DraftKings)

Toronto Raptors at Sacramento Kings
Let’s end the night on a high note, shall we?
With the total set at 237.5, Vegas is expecting a shootout in this one.
Toronto has been hampered by the absence of Scottie Barnes, who is out until at least late November due to an orbital fracture. Someone has needed to answer the call for the Raptors, and Gradey Dick has done just that.
Dick has averaged 27.3 points in the four games that Barnes has missed, and he went for 22 against Sacramento on Saturday. He appears to only be getting better, so we’re going to ride the hot hand.
The pick: Gradey Dick over 20.5 points, -115 (DraftKings)
