Best NBA plays today
- Raptors (-1.5) at 76ers
- Nuggets/Pelicans Over (233.5)
- Blazers (+2.5) vs. Bulls
Raptors (-1.5) at 76ers - 7:00 p.m. ET
The 76ers rallied past the Clippers on Monday, 110-108, but Philadelphia is 0-4 in its last four games off a victory. Philadelphia will be without C Joel Embiid and SF Paul George, who are both on injury management.
The Raptors have won four straight games since losing at Philadelphia, 130-120 on November 8. Toronto is riding an 8-1 hot stretch the last nine games, including three consecutive road victories.
The Sixers are on the front-end of a back-to-back set, which concludes in Milwaukee on Thursday. Philadelphia is 4-0 against the spread as a home underdog this season, but this is a short-handed roster coming into a revenge spot for Toronto.

Nuggets/Pelicans Over (233.5) - 8:00 p.m. ET
It’s been a rough month for the Pelicans, who are 2-12 out of the gate and have fired head coach Willie Green. It doesn’t get easier for New Orleans, who hosts Denver tonight, as the Nuggets are 10-3 to start the season.
The Pelicans have allowed 124 points or more in three of the last four games, while losing at Denver last month, 122-88. That game easily stayed Under the total of 238, but tonight’s total has dropped over five points.
Denver has averaged 125 points per game in the past three road contests, so they will likely contribute nicely to tonight’s total. The question is whether New Orleans can score, but the Pelicans have averaged 110.4 ppg in the previous five home games.

Blazers (+2.5) vs. Bulls - 10:00 p.m. ET
The Blazers got off to a slow start in Tuesday’s 127-110 loss to the Suns, as Portland fell to 1-5-1 against the spread as a favorite. Chicago comes to town tonight, as the Bulls are off a 130-127 victory at Denver on Monday, which snapped a five-game slide.
The Bulls picked up only their second road win in seven tries against the Nuggets, but are flipped to a favorite tonight. The Blazers have been better in the underdog role, cashing in five of seven opportunities, including wins over the Thunder, Nuggets, and Warriors at home.
Portland has covered three straight matchups with Chicago, all as an underdog. These teams split a pair of meetings last season with the Blazers winning at home, 113-102 last January.
