NBA Finals Game 2 Betting Picks and Predictions Spurs vs. Knicks
The NBA Finals heads to Madison Square Garden on Monday night as the New York Knicks seek a commanding 3-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs.
Following a 10-point victory in Game 1, the Knicks held off the Spurs in Game 2 with a late Jalen Brunson free throw for a 105-104 triumph.
The scene shifts to the Big Apple as the Knicks host their first NBA Finals game since 1999. Can New York win its 13th consecutive game and put San Antonio on the brink of elimination?
We’ll break down two plays for the Monday action. Remember to monitor the odds throughout the day, as the sides and totals market is constantly changing.

- Spurs (+2.5) at Knicks
- Dylan Harper Under 13.5 Points
Spurs (+2.5) at Knicks - 8:30 p.m. ET
It’s hard to step on the train tracks of the oncoming locomotive, but San Antonio has thrived in the underdog role. After losing the first two games as a favorite to New York, the Spurs are flipped here as they beat Oklahoma City twice as a dog in the Western Conference Finals.
San Antonio jumped out to a solid start in each of the first two games by leading after the first quarter. Things went New York’s way in the middle two quarters, but the Knicks found a way to close down the stretch to take the 2-0 lead.
San Antonio’s effective field goal percentage jumped from 42.1% in Game 1 to 54.5% in Game 2, as the Spurs almost stole Game 2 after trailing by 14 points with six minutes remaining. Victor Wembanyama shot better in Game 2 (11-of-21) after hitting 28.6% of his attempts in Game 1, which is a positive sign heading to Game 3.
The Knicks have been outstanding in the postseason, but this will be their shortest favorite price at home. Let’s back the Spurs here to sneak back into the series and cash in the underdog role.
Dylan Harper Under 13.5 Points - 8:30 p.m. ET
The rookie from Rutgers has been impressive through two games, scoring 16 points in the opener and 15 points in Friday’s loss. His total for Game 1 closed at 10.5 and was bumped up to 11.5 for Game 2, which he both easily hit.
However, the Spurs’ guard has done his damage off the bench and the Knicks will look to contain him in Game 3. Since scoring 24 points in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals at Oklahoma City, he has scored 12 or fewer points in each of the last three road games.
