NCAA Tournament Field Set: Undeserving Teams Somehow In; Deserving Teams Somehow Out
credits: Gerry Broome | source: [object Object] An uneven presentation on TBS this evening finally did succeed in revealing the selections for the 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship bracket. Your number one seeds are Virginia, Kansas, Xavier, and Villanova. The last four in were Syracuse, Arizona State, UCLA, and the Bonnies of St. Bonaventure. The First Four will be played this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, which seems impossibly soon, possibly too soon for one such as myself to properly fill out a doomed, worthless bracket.
The excellent and fun Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders sadly were left out of the tournament this year. The 23-11 USC Trojans were also snubbed, as were the 28-5 Gaels of Saint Mary’s, and the 20-14 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who were apparently knocked out when Davidson upset Rhode Island to capture the Atlantic 10 conference automatic berth.
