NFL transactions roundup: Falcons add DT depth

A fifth-round pick by Indianapolis in 2022, Johnson has appeared in 51 games (no starts) and recorded 41 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery with the Colts (2022-23, 2025) and New England Patriots (2024).
Johnson, 28, spent the offseason and training camp with the Minnesota Vikings before being released on Wednesday.
--The Colts signed free agent tight end JJ Galbreath and waived cornerback Jai'Onte' McMillan.
Galbreath spent 2025 on the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad after going undrafted out of South Dakota, where he caught 93 passes for 1,355 yards and 12 touchdowns in 45 games (30 starts) from 2020-24.
McMillan signed with the Colts on June 1 as an undrafted free agent after playing collegiately at TCU (2020-23) and Minnesota (2024-25).
