NFL Week Twelve, Update #2
• Baltimore 27, Pittsburgh 0. That one's gotta feel good for the people of Baltimore. Even though they led the division, even though Pittsburgh had been terrible... they still needed to put their foot their foot up the Steelers' ass. Just to prove that they could do it. And that's exactly what they did to the Steelers today. They were more physical, they executed better... it was a blowout in every possible sense of the word. Ben Roethlisberger was sacked 9 times.
• Buffalo 27, Jacksonville 24. What the fuck is your deal, Jacksonville? One week, you look unbeatable, the next, you lose to Buffalo. And it's been like this all year with these guys. I think half the team has a major coke habit. J.P. Losman was 21-of-28 passing for 169 yards.
• Minnesota 31, Arizona 19. How any team gives up 31 points to the Vikings is beyond me. Dennis Green had to work overtime this week to come up with a scheme that allowed the Minnesota offense to look good. Brad Johnson threw for 271 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 interceptions, and Chester Taylor ran for 136 yards and a touchdown. Edgerrin James carried four times for 15 yards.
