Nolan Arenado Completes Cycle With Come-From-Behind Walk-Off Dong, Is Rewarded With Bloodied Face
Photo: Matthew Stockman/Getty Images Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado completed a cycle today in the most dramatic possible fashion: with a three-run walk-off dinger in the bottom of the ninth inning. Dig it:

This was the eighth cycle in Rockies history. The Sporting News says this was the first walk-off homer to end a cycle since another Rockie, Carlos Gonzales, did it back in 2010.
For his troubles, Arenado was whanged with a batting helmet, leaving him looking like this:
