NYCFC G Greg Ranjitsingh extended through 2027-28

Mandatory Credit: Mark Smith-Imagn Images New York City FC signed veteran goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh to a contract extension through 2027-28 on Tuesday.
The deal with the 33-year-old journeyman also includes an option for the 2028-29 campaign.
"Greg brings valuable experience and leadership to our goalkeeping unit," NYCFC sporting director Todd Dunivant said. "His impact in the locker room is felt on a daily basis, as he is a culture carrier for the team."
Ranjitsingh joined New York City in January 2025 after making a total of nine MLS regular-season starts with Orlando City (2019), Minnesota United (2020) and Toronto FC (2023). He has also spent time with the Philadelphia Union and Los Angeles FC.
"Extending my contract with New York City FC means a lot to me," Ranjitsingh said. "We have a special group here, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue being part of it. I'm excited to keep bringing energy every day, supporting my teammates and doing everything I can to help the club succeed."
