Oh God, Alex Poythress Caught His Teeth In The Net

Late in Kentucky’s dominant-looking 74-63 win over Duke, Jamal Murray went behind the back and found Alex Poythress for a nice-alley oop:

Good god! Poythress seemed fine—it didn’t snag too deep—but it led the Deadspin staff to discuss the plausibility of the urban legend about the kid who fell while trying to hang a soccer net and caught his scrotum on one of the hooks. Sorry for putting that one in your head if you hadn’t heard it.
