Ohio State Quarterback Braxton Miller Forced Out Of Game With Possible Head Injury [UPDATE]
Ohio State's Braxton Miller—one of the nation's top quarterbacks—left the field in Columbus on a cart after suffering an ugly injury during the Buckeyes' game against Purdue. After a long run to set up a much-needed scoring opportunity (the undefeated Buckeyes being down 20-14 at the time) Miller's head appeared to ricochet off the turf, and Miller remained down on the field for several minutes.
OSU radio reported Miller had suffered a head injury, though we're waiting for official confirmation and we'll update as more information arrives. [ESPN2]
Update (3:02 p.m.): ESPN is reporting Miller will be taken to hospital by ambulance.
Update (5:36 p.m.): The OSU Athletic department says Miller has no symptoms and was released from the hospital.
