Oklahoma Kindly Allows Josh Jarboe to Pursue His Rap Career Full-Time
"Used to have a gun, now i'm at Oklahoma. N***a, I graduated from school, so you know I got my diploma...didn't get hit I put his ass in a coma." Those are the lyrics sung (rapped?) by freshman wide receiver Josh Jarboe in a grimy YouTube freestyle. As you might expect, the folks at Oklahoma U didn't take too kindly to them, and have kicked him off the team. This was just the latest round of trouble for Jarboe, who was arrested earlier this year, and sentenced to some community service after an assistant principal caught him carrying a stolen pistol in the parking lot of his high school. Hater.
"We are disappointed in this outcome, but our complete review and the final decision is in the best interest of the program," Stoops said in a prepared statement. "We outlined for Josh the expectations we had for him when he arrived and unfortunately, those expectations have not been met," Stoops said. "Josh needs to learn from this experience. We hope he can move forward in a positive manner."
Lil' Wayne, it was not later announced, quickly signed Jarboe to be his ghost-writer for Tha Carter IV. Shit is gonna be straight fire, son! Bob Stoops boots Josh Jarboe after rap flap [News Oklahoma]
