One Player Helped Get Both Goalies Knocked Out Of The Red Wings-Lightning Game

Via [object Object] It’s not a good night for goalies in Tampa. First came an injury to Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop, on a seemingly routine save of a shot from rookie Nick Jensen in the first period. Though the play seemed innocuous enough, Bishop soon left the game, and the team later announced that he was out with a lower-body injury and would not return.
Then, in the second period, Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard had to be helped off the ice after being the victim of a collision in the net... in which Jensen fell directly on top of him, along with the Lightning’s Erik Condra.
With both backup goalies in, Tampa Bay pulled out to a 4-0 lead by the end of the second period. Congratulations to Nick Jensen for building such an impressive reputation as a goalie-killer so early in his career.
