Panthers F Anton Lundell gets 6-year, reported $30M extension

The Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers re-signed forward Anton Lundell to a six-year extension on Wednesday.
Terms were not disclosed but multiple reports put the total value of the deal, which runs through the 2029-30 campaign, at $30 million ($5 million average annual value).
Lundell, 22, collected 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) with a plus-19 rating in 78 games during the 2023-24 regular season. The Finland native added three goals and 14 assists in 24 games in the playoffs, including a team-high five assists in the Stanley Cup Final against Edmonton.
"Anton has matured into a dependable multirole center for our club, who seized his opportunity from his first day in North America," general manager Bill Zito said. "His commitment to improvement and cerebral approach to the game earned him the profound respect of his teammates and coaches, and we are excited to see him continue to grow and succeed with the Panthers."
A first-round pick (12th overall) by Florida in 2020, Lundell has recorded 112 points (43 goals, 69 assists) and a plus-53 rating through 216 games.
