PARIVISION elevate to top of Group B of ESL One Bangkok

PARIVISION recorded two wins on Tuesday to ascend to the top of the Group B standings in the ESL One Bangkok group stage in Thailand,

PARIVISION posted 2-0 wins over Team Liquid and Gaozu while Team BetBoom coupled a 2-0 victory over beastcoast with a 1-1 tie vs. Nigma Galaxy. Liquid and Nigma Galaxy, as well as beastcoast and Gaozu, also each ended up settling for 1-1 ties.

In Group A, Natus Vincere swept BOOM Esports before losing 2-0 to AVULUS. Team Falcons also swept Shopify Rebellion before settling for a draw against BOOM, while Team Spirit notched ties versus both AVULUS and Shopify Rebellion.

Twelve teams, including eight regional qualifiers, are competing this week in the $1 million ESL One Bangkok tournament. The group stage (running Monday through Wednesday) splits teams into two round-robin groups of six, where all series consist of two games.

The top two teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The third- and fourth-place teams from each group will move into the lower bracket and the other teams will be eliminated. The double-elimination playoff bracket features best-of-three matches except for Sunday's grand final, which is best-of-five.

On Tuesday, PARIVISION posted a 42-minute win on red and 33-minute victory on green to dispatch Liquid before securing a 37-minute win on red and 33-minute victory on green versus Gaozu.

BetBoom Team kept on PARIVISION's heels with a 51-minute triumph on green versus beastcoast before taking the second map. In Group A, Falcons remained in first place with a 28-minute win on red and 33-minute victory on green against Shopify Rebellion.
