Patriots add S Jabrill Peppers (hip) to injury report

Mandatory Credit: Eric Canha-Imagn Images The New England Patriots added safety Jabrill Peppers to the injury report on Saturday, listing him as questionable for Sunday's season opener at Cincinnati with a hip issue.
Peppers, 28, is entering his third season with the Patriots. He posted 78 tackles, two interceptions and one sack in 15 starts last season.
A first-round pick by Cleveland in 2017, Peppers has recorded 471 tackles, 33 passes defensed, six interceptions and 5.5 sacks in 93 games (79 starts) with the Browns (2017-18), New York Giants (2019-21) and Patriots.
A team captain this season, Peppers agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract extension in July.
