Phillies recall RHP Daniel Robert

In a corresponding move, right-hander Alan Rangel was optioned to Lehigh Valley.
Robert has logged two appearances for the Phillies this season, allowing one run, one hit, and three walks in only 2/3 of an inning.
The 30-year-old produced a slightly larger sample size for the Texas Rangers last season, recording a 3.18 ERA and 1.412 WHIP in 5 2/3 innings.
In 23 total Triple-A games this season, he has posted an impressive 2.42 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 26 total innings of work.
