Police Reportedly Determine That Aqib Talib Shot Himself In The Leg
Photo credit: Joseph Garnett/ [object Object] Early this summer, Aqib Talib was shot in the leg and briefly went to the hospital. Initial reports had him as a victim in a shooting at a Dallas strip club, but he maintained that he was shot in the leg at a park later that evening, saying that he was too drunk to know who shot him.
KUSA reported at the time that Talib had been telling those close to him that he accidentally shot himself, and WFAA reported this evening that the Dallas Police Department has determined that Talib did indeed shoot himself in the leg.
They say his claim that he was shot by someone while standing in a park in northeast Dallas is unfounded, sources say.

Talib refused a follow-up interview with the Dallas Police Department. Instead, his lawyer spoke for him.
We reached out to the Dallas PD for confirmation, who told us:
I have not been made aware of any new information regarding that incident and cannot confirm any information regarding your request.
