Prince Brings His Unique Style Of Pants To The Super Bowl
As anyone who watched the NFL on CBS yesterday now knows from the above commercial, your Super Bowl halftime show performer is Prince. We don’t understand this commercial in the slightest — because Prince, of course, has never once made an artistic decision based on advertisers or corporate interests ... not least of which is playing halftime of the Super Bowl, the ultimate gritty indie venue — and find ourselves a little scared of Prince, as usual. Still, it beats whatever they were doing with the Rolling Stones last year. (The worst acts of the last 10 years, if you ask us, were the “Blues Brothers” and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. But that’s us.)
For those wondering what Prince won’t be performing, our friends at Idolator have a pretty good idea.
