Pryor and Beanie Get It Done
It was a close one, but Terrelle Pryor's last minute touchdown run was just what was needed to put Ohio State over the top in last night's 20-17 win over Wisconsin. Beanie Wells' looked to be in great form as well with 168 yards rushing and a touchdown of his own. If Pryor and Wells can stay healthy, the Buckeyes look like a serious threat down the line. With their toughest upcoming games being held at home, they could be Rose Bowl bound. Wisconsin walked away with their second loss of the season. • USC crushed Oregon 44-10 in a much needed win after last week's stunning loss. Trojan quarterback Mark Sanchez threw an impressive three touchdowns for 332 yards, spreading the wealth among seven receivers. Oregon held a 10-3 lead into the second quarter, but after a flurry of scoring by USC they were not able to recover allowing the Trojans to break the game open. Oregon limps away with their second loss of the season. • Missouri added a win to their record and ended a 30 year streak of losses in Lincoln. Tigers quarterback Chase Daniel threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns in the 52-17 thrashing of the Cornhuskers. Nebraska coach Bo Pelini is taking it pretty hard. "I'm not used to losing. I'm not used to getting beat soundly. It's my fault," said the first-year coach. "Damn right, yes, I'm embarrassed. I apologized to the team. I apologize to the state of Nebraska. I apologize to everyone associated with Nebraska football."
