PUBG: ThunderTalk Gaming rolls to victory at Peacekeeper Elite League

Jordan Woodruff ThunderTalk Gaming ran away with the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring 2025 title, finishing the league finals with a 70-point margin of victory Sunday in Jinan, China.
ThunderTalk racked up 196 points over the last three days, winning three of the 18 total matches and rarely ranking outside the top 10. On Sunday, they won Game 17 with a whopping 27 points (10 placement points, 17 kill points) and also placed second in Game 14 with 20 points (six placement, 14 kill).
By placing first, ThunderTalk secured the base prize of 3 million Chinese yuan (roughly $416,117) before counting bonuses. They took home the equivalent of $631,111.38 this season.
Han "Xing" Xing of China notched Finals MVP, which comes with a $69,352.90 bonus, on top of his regular-season MVP honor.
It was a tight race for second place, with the Nos. 2-7 teams separated by just five total points. Tianba secured second at 126 points, three ahead of Regans Gaming, thanks to winning Game 14 and placing second in Game 15 on Sunday.
The regular season began in February and wrapped up April 27, with the top seven teams qualifying directly for the finals and the other 16 teams proceeding to the playoffs. The playoffs took place May 1-4 to determine nine more teams that would reach the finals.
The finals lasted Friday through Sunday, with six matches each day.
