Rams vs Falcons Week 17 Monday Night Football Betting Picks
The Los Angeles Rams will travel for a road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Rams boast an 11-4 record, and they still have an outside chance to win the NFC West. The Falcons have been eliminated, and they’re finishing out the remainder of their season.
Los Angeles features one of the best offenses in the NFL this season. They rank second in points (.480) per play, trailing only the Seattle Seahawks. They’re also averaging a league-high 30.5 points per game.
They’ve been incredible in recent games, averaging 41 points per game over their last three contests. The Rams have also scored 28+ points in eight of their last nine games, including each of their last five.
The other key is that Los Angeles’ offense has traveled extremely well in 2025. They lead the NFL, averaging .515 points per play on the road this season. They’re also averaging a league-high 32.9 points per game on the road.

The Falcons aren’t a defense that I’m overly concerned with at this point in the season. They rank 18th in the league in points allowed (.389) per play. Overall, they’re giving up the 12-most points (24) per game this season.
Atlanta’s defense is trending in the wrong direction at this point, though. They’re giving up .480 points per play over their last three games. We’ve also seen them struggle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (28 points), Seahawks (37), New York Jets (27), and Carolina Panthers (30) in recent games.
Surprisingly, the Falcons haven’t found much defensive success at home this season. They’re giving up a ridiculous .460 points per play in Atlanta in 2025. We’ve also seen teams consistently find success against them in that situation.
It’s always difficult to fully trust a team flying from the West Coast to the East Coast, but this is a night game, so it isn’t going to be as much of an issue. The bigger concern is that Los Angeles is likely to be without Davante Adams once again.
We saw the Rams dominate Seattle without Adams last week, though. They scored 37 points in that game, featuring Puka Nacua in an elite role. Sean McVay is one of the smartest offensive minds in the NFL, and I don’t believe Adams’ absence is going to be a major issue in this game.
