Another former Baylor football player, recent defensive standout Shawn Oakman, is under investigation for a reported sexual assault over the weekend. The story was broken by the Waco Tribune-Herald, which did not identify the player “because he had not been arrested.” However, it did extensively quote a police request for a search warrant, which’s Alex Dunlap later tweeted out.

The Tribune-Herald reported that police took two comforters, a fitted sheet, and a flat sheet from the home as a result of the search. The player declined to comment to the paper.

A Baylor spokeswoman told the newspaper that school “will cooperate fully with any investigation.”

Update (11:15 p.m.): To clarify Oakman’s status with Baylor. This past season was his senior year, so he wasn’t eligible to play anymore at the time of the report to police.
