Ref Breaks Rib After Colliding With Maple Leafs Player, Hitting Ice
Remember a couple of weeks ago, when Tyler Seguin was chirping at the referee to get out of the corner? Well here's another reason for referees to stay out: you'll get wrecked.
In the first period of last night's Blue Jackets-Maple Leafs game, Maple Leafs forward David Clarkson got checked/stumbled into referee Dean Morton, who wasn't able to hop fully out of the way. Morton left the game, and later learned that he had broken a rib.
