The Chicago Cubs agreed to a deal with free agent outfielder Michael Conforto, MLB Network reported Monday.

Financial terms were not available for the veteran who turns 33 on March 1.

A first-round draft pick (2014) and an All-Star (2017) with the New York Mets, Conforto spent last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a one-year, $17 million deal.

He batted a career-worst .199 with 12 homers and 36 RBIs in 138 games for the Dodgers and was not part of the postseason roster for the World Series champions.

Conforto is a career .245 hitter with 179 homers and 556 RBIs in 1,150 games with the Mets (2015-21), San Francisco Giants (2023-24) and Dodgers. He missed the 2022 season with a shoulder injury.
