Former Syracuse head coach Adrian Autry is joining Ryan Odom's staff at Virginia, CBS Sports reported Thursday.

Autry and Odom previously worked together on Seth Greenberg's staff at Virginia Tech from 2008-10.

Autry, 54, was fired by his alma mater Syracuse on March 11, three years after he replaced Jim Boeheim.

The Orange finished 49-48 with no NCAA Tournament appearances under Autry's leadership from 2023-26.

Autry remains in the Atlantic Coast Conference by heading to Virginia, which finished 30-5 in Odom's first season.
