Report: NFL Denies Josh Gordon's Reinstatement, Won't Reconsider Until August

Josh Gordon, who’s on his third suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy, won’t be reinstated any time soon, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. The league has denied his request, which will leave the Browns receiver suspended through at least the start of training camp.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the league would consider reinstatement on Aug. 1:
On Monday, Fox Sports’ Mike Garafolo reported that Gordon had failed a drug test in March because the sample was diluted, which registered as a positive test. Additionally, ESPN reported that the suspended wide receiver was living with former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel in Los Angeles.
