Mandatory Credit: Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images Norway superstar Erling Haaland is among 10 players being rested by coach Stale Solbakken in Friday's World Cup clash with France, ESPN reported.
The Manchester City forward is in the race for the Golden Boot with four goals, tied with France's Kylian Mbappe and one goal behind Argentina's Lionel Messi.
Unbeaten Norway (2-0-0) and France (2-0-0) both have secured qualification for the Round of 32 from Group I.
France are the group leaders entering Friday's match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., based on their plus-5 goal differential (Norway are plus-4).
Sources told ESPN that the only Norway regular who will retain his starting spot on Friday is Benfica midfielder Fredrik Aursnes.
Haaland, 25, had two goals each in Norway's wins against Iraq on June 16 and Senegal on Monday. He is the national team's all-time leader with 59 goals in 52 caps.
