Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports The Toronto Raptors are re-signing guard Immanuel Quickley to a five-year, $175 million contract, ESPN reported on Friday.
Quickley, 25, joined the Raptors with R.J. Barrett in the Dec. 30, 2023, trade that sent forward OG Anunoby and two others to the New York Knicks.
Quickley averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 38 starts for Toronto following the trade, compared to 15.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.6 boards in 30 games off the New York bench prior to the deal.
A first-round pick (25th overall) in 2020, Quickley made the All-Rookie team in 2020-21 and boasts career averages of 13.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 291 games (65 starts). He has also knocked down 594 3-pointers at a 37.5-percent clip.
Reports earlier this week said the Raptors are also re-signing All-Star guard Scottie Barnes to a five-year max rookie extension worth up to $270 million.
