Report: Twins to activate SS Carlos Correa from IL

The Minnesota Twins are set to activate shortstop Carlos Correa from the 10-day injured list, The Athletic reported Monday.
The two-time All-Star has missed the last 16 games with an oblique injury.
Correa's expected return comes before Monday's opener of a three-game road series against the Chicago White Sox. Minnesota is on a season-best seven-game winning streak after a four-game road sweep over the Los Angeles Angels over the weekend.
According to the report, infielder Austin Martin is expected to be optioned back to the minor leagues.
In 11 games this season, the 29-year-old Correa was batting .306 with one home run and four RBIs.
In 10 seasons with the Houston Astros (2015-21) and Twins, the former American League Rookie of the Year and No. 1 overall draft pick in 2012 is a career .273 hitter with an .820 OPS, 174 home runs and 622 RBIs.
Martin, 25, debuted on March 30 and batted .226 with one home run and six RBIs in 22 games for the Twins this season.
