USC linebacker Osa Masina was suspended by the school on Tuesday amid two separate sexual assault investigations. Both the Cottonwood Heights Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating Masina for assaults that allegedly took place in July in California and Utah. TMZ reports that a search warrant in Los Angeles for Masina’s phone has the victim of both assaults telling police that Masina and another USC football player Don Hill drugged her and raped her on July 14. She later learned, per TMZ, that they Snapchatted photos and videos of what happened to her ex-boyfriend, a football player at Arizona.
Here are the details from the warrant, as reported by TMZ:
After the frat party, the woman claims she was taken to Hill’s apartment — but insists she was “out of it” due to the Xanax and the booze. However, she remembers smoking weed.
“The next thing the victim recalls is having sex with Osa Chad Masina,” the search warrant says.
She told police that she found out later that Masina and Hill had sent photos and videos to her ex. Two weeks later, Masina and the victim were partying in Utah, when she passed out. She said that she awoke to Masina forcing himself on her, which prompted her to go to the police, according to TMZ.
The woman claims she passed out and awoke to see him on top of her, engaging in anal sex with her. She also says he forced oral sex.
The woman says she woke up the next morning in pain and went to police, and a rape kit was administered.
Hill is still on the team and is scheduled to take the field against Alabama on Saturday. We’ll update this post when more information becomes available. If you know anything, reach out at email@example.com.
