Reports: Pirates, RHP Mitch Keller agree to 5-year, $77M extension

Right-hander Mitch Keller agreed to a five-year, $77 million contract extension, according to multiple reports on Thursday.

Keller, 27, struck out 210 batters and was named an All-Star in 2023. He had two years remaining on his existing contract.

Keller posted a 13-9 record with a 4.21 ERA last season and has 521 strikeouts in 523 2/3 career innings.

A second-round pick out of high school in 2014, Keller is 25-38 with a 4.71 ERA in 102 career appearances (100 starts).
