Rice MOB Performs Baylor Scandal-Themed Halftime Show

The Rice University Marching Owl Band performed a “tribute” to Baylor’s sexual assault scandal by forming a “IX” in front of the visiting team’s seating section:

The band later scattered to a Ken “Starr” formation to play “Hit The Road, Jack”:


Baylor fans were mad.

The MOB is famous for using its halftime shows to poke fun at in-state opponents’ scandals; in 2008, the band opened its show during the Rice-Texas game with the “Dragnet” theme as members dressed as Longhorns players were chased around by “police.”
