Photo Credit: Harry How/ [object Object] The NHL will fine Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf the maximum of $10,000 for his use of a homophobic slur in Thursday’s Game 4 win over the Predators.
The league released a statement condemning his language as “inappropriately demeaning and disrespectful.” They will not be suspending him for tonight’s Game 5.
It’s not clear exactly what language Getzlaf used, but he was caught on camera saying something to a referee that appears to be“fucking cocksucker” or similar.
