Ryan O'Reilly Gets Sweet Unintentional Assist From Referee

The official box score from tonight’s Maple Leafs-Sabres game says that this Ryan O’Reilly goal was unassisted, but the tape shows otherwise.
Referee Kendrick Nicholson was trying to get out of the way of the action, but he wasn’t quick enough and the puck bounced off his leg. It ended up in just the right spot for O’Reilly, and his shot was good—widening Buffalo’s lead to 4-2 in what would ultimately become a 5-3 win.
Teamwork.
