Saturday Night's Alright (For Dunkin')

A quick preview of tonight's All-Star fesivities, one of the most underrated events of the sporting calendar...

Playstation Skills Challenge: There's a lot of star power here, considering the extreme lameness of the actual event. The competitors are LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, and possible rookie of the year Chris Paul. Nash dominated this dumb event last year, but I'm going with Dwyane Wade in the upset. I've got LeBron finishing last.

RadioShack Shooting Stars. RadioShack is closing 700 stores nationwide, but they've still got money to sponsor this damn thing? The lazy-eyed salesperson in Des Moines is losing their job, but the person who recommended that RadioShack invest in this travesty is still employed. I like the San Antonio team to win, and the Houston team to finish last.

Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout. Pretty nice field here, too. Ray Allen, Gilbert Arenas (in for the injured Raja Bell), Chauncey Billups, Dirk Nowitzki, Quentin Richardson, and Jason Terry. I'll take Quentin Richardson to repeat here, but don't ignore Chauncey Billups and the most underrated mustache in sports. Finishing last, I'll take Dirk.

Sprite Rising Stars Slam Dunk. I love the field here, and I think we're in for some special dunks tonight. I can't go against Josh Smith after last year's display, but I think Andre Iguodala has some nastiness to unleash, and Nate Robinson can do some special things. Finishing last will be Haki—actually, check that. Chris Andersen will find a way to finish last again.
