Scott Laughton Stretchered Off The Ice After Slamming Into Boards With His Head (UPDATE)
Screencap [object Object] The Flyers and Capitals have had a contentious, physical series that’s featured a bunch of fighting and a fan revolt. This hit on Scott Laughton was not particularly vicious, but he smashed into the boards at the wrong angle with plenty of speed and it appears he tweaked his neck and hit his head.
Laughton had movement in his limbs, but he was mostly immobile on the ice and he had to be stretchered off.
We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.
Update (10:37 p.m.): Laughton has been taken to a hospital.
