Seahawks WR Jake Bobo placed on season-ending IR

The Seattle Seahawks placed wide receiver Jake Bobo on season-ending injured reserve Saturday.

The transaction comes one day after Bobo sustained a knee injury during a joint practice session with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. Bobo was carted off the practice field after being thrown a pass near the sideline.

Wide receiver Julian Hicks was signed to fill the open roster spot.

Hicks, 26, returns to the Seahawks after signing with the club last weekend -- only to be waived to make room for two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs. Hicks has yet to play in an NFL game despite a stint with the Green Bay Packers after going undrafted out of Albany in 2024.

Bobo, 28, played in 11 games last season and caught two passes on two targets for 20 yards. He made two catches in three playoff games for 33 yards and one TD for the Seahawks, who beat New England 29-13 in Super Bowl LX.

For his career, Bobo has 34 receptions on 44 targets for 323 yards and three touchdowns in 45 regular-season games (three starts) since 2023.
