Sean Salisbury Drops His Lawsuit Against Gawker Media, Me
Hear ye. The lawsuit brought forth by an aggrieved former NFL quarterback and television analyst against a Bully Blogger and Bully Blog Shop, in Denton County, Texas, for the past several months, is no more.
Here is the Gawker legal team's official comment:
Sean Salisbury's admissions regarding the cell phone incident while employed at ESPN have been a matter of public record for several months. Recently, in connection with his suit against Deadspin for libel, he sent a subpoena to CBS Radio for documents relating to his termination from 105.3 The Fan in September 2009.
CBS produced those documents.
Today, Salisbury dismissed his claims against us without prejudice. In his court filing, he did not explain why. We wish him the best as he tries to rebuild his career.
