Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 46 points to lift the host Oklahoma City Thunder to a 129-125 overtime win over the Utah Jazz Wednesday.

Gilgeous-Alexander hit the big shot to force overtime, then Chet Holmgren made perhaps the biggest play in the extra period, slamming home Gilgeous-Alexander's miss with 30 seconds left to break a tie.

Gilgeous-Alexander then grabbed the rebound off Svi Mykhailiuk's missed corner 3-pointer, then sank both free throws to make it a two-possession game with less than 10 seconds remaining.

Gilgeous-Alexander was 14-of-26 from the field and 17-of-19 from the free-throw line. He had no turnovers in 42 minutes.

Holmgren finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Jalen Williams had 17 points and eight assists.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Thunder. The Jazz have dropped five consecutive games.

Oklahoma City won despite shooting a season-low 18.4% from beyond the arc. The Thunder made 1 of 18 3-pointers after halftime.

The Thunder forced overtime with a 17-9 push, tying the game on Gilgeous-Alexander's 13-foot jumper at the buzzer.

After trailing by 20 early in the game, Utah battled back to grab the lead early in the fourth quarter and controlled much of the final quarter, leading by as many as eight.

But the Thunder got back into the game with seven consecutive points, then tied it with 28.6 seconds left on Williams' step-back jumper.

Walter Clayton Jr.'s jumper was blocked by Aaron Wiggins in the closing seconds, but Lauri Markkanen grabbed it and went back up, putting the Jazz ahead with 3.2 seconds remaining.

Markkanen led Utah with 29 points and added 13 rebounds. Keyonte George had 25 points and 11 assists in the loss.

Jusuf Nurkic had 15 points and 15 rebounds before fouling out early in overtime.

Oklahoma City stretched its lead to 20 three minutes into the second quarter with a 14-3 run.

The Thunder scored on their first eight possessions of the second quarter.

But the Jazz finished the half with a big push, outscoring Oklahoma City 26-11 over the remainder of the quarter to cut the deficit to just five at halftime.
