Silly Baseball Goose Goes To Better Place
credits: Carlos Osorio | source: [object Object] The silly goose that bonked itself to hell in Wednesday’s Angels-Tigers game has now supposedly been released into the scenic green wilderness of East Lansing, Michigan, after a brief stay at a veterinary hospital.
The goose was reportedly rescued by a veterinarian who happened to be in the stands nearby where it crashed back to earth following its doomed escape flight. That veterinarian, Catherine Roach, says the goose was mostly fine. For her heroics—and for having a happy story to tell about the goose, who was more probably served with a side of mashed potatoes late Wednesday evening—Roach was invited to throw out the first pitch Thursday:
